Ocean (Ship) logbook, 1803.

The logbook of the ship Ocean details a shipping voyage from Boston to Dublin, Ireland, and New York, March-Aug. 1803. The logbook keeper was Moses Emery. The logbook includes one incident of disorderly conduct among the merchant mariners on board. During its voyage, the Ocean spoke the brigs Albion (out of Boston) and Iris (out of Norfolk), and the ships Cato (out of Norfolk), James (out of Baltimore), and Warren (out of New York).
